Nityananda owns 3-4 acres of the farm where he started with banana, coconut, etc. He started Vermicompost in 2013 and currently sells Mushroom and Vermicompost under his brand name. He has recently started with a small dairy also. Paddy straw mushroom is a highly demanding one His products are usually sold in local state market. He earns a profit of 3to 4 lakh/year and has employed women labour to motivate women empowerment.
