Jharkhand Government Distributes Kisan Credit Cards to Over 42000 Farmers
The CM said that efforts are being made to urge each villager to plant fruit trees as part of the government's Birsa Harit Gram Yojana.
The Jharkhand government is continuously working to raise the income of farmers and laborers of the state, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said. The CM was speaking to people at the inaugural program and camp-cum-awareness for various schemes as well as the laying of the foundation for the Mega Kisan Credit Card at the divisional level on Thursday.
Soren further said, “The government is trying to create action plans and implement them on the ground in order to protect the interests of farmers and laborers and to help them. The bankers have been instructed to help the farmers in any way they can with the KCC loan. When everyone steps forward, then we will be able to move towards progress. According to the CM, whether farmers and workers benefit from government schemes or not, they are responsible for conducting on-the-ground inspections of them. By planning events like today, I am myself coming among you and working to cover you with schemes.”
The CM said that efforts are being made to urge each villager to plant fruit trees as part of the government's Birsa Harit Gram Yojana. The lease of the trees will be made available to the public in the same way as the lease of the forest and the lease of the land. Now that fruit trees can be planted on government land, rural farmers will also be able to keep their ownership of the fruit trees.
He said that so far, the state hasn't received as much rain as usual. Drought is becoming more likely in such an environment. We are all concerned about this, but the government is also prepared to address it. He said that all of us have worked together to solve many problems in two and a half years. We are all working systematically to find a solution to this problem. Farmers can now receive the best farming advice thanks to the appointment of agriculture officers. Farmers can operate their farms based on the officials' advice on what to do and what not to do in these drought-like conditions. He claimed that with the help of tribal natives, we are working as hard as we can to improve the State.
He further stated that under the government's Aapke Dwar scheme, efforts are being made to reach the people in rural areas. Now that they are working for you, the officials are going from village to village. Youngsters in JPSC are receiving appointment letters in record time. Pension is paid to widows who are old, helpless, or disabled. The government is aiming to ensure the general public's social security. Work has been done to meet the old pension demands of thousands of government employees.
