Even as the wheat variety HD2967, developed by, the Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI) continues to be popular among the farmers due to its high yield, they can now opt for HI 8823 (D) variety of wheat.  

HI 8823 (D) variety of wheat has been developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The most important feature of this variety is that it is rich in nutrients. This variety of wheat is considered more fertile for Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat region. Along with this, it is suitable for cultivation in Rajasthan region like Kota and Udaipur and Jhansi areas of Uttar Pradesh.

HI 8823 (D) Variety Features 

This variety of wheat is thin and sharp. It contains zinc (40.1ppm) and iron (37.9ppm). At the same time, protein is found at 12.1 percent

Sowing time: 

The variety HI 8823 (D) developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Indore, Madhya Pradesh is considered very special. The right time to sow this variety is from 25 October to 05 November. 

Average Yield:  

Let us tell you that the average yield of this variety of wheat is believed to be 38.5 quintals per hectare by agricultural scientists. This variety can give very good yield to the farmer. 

Irrigation  

Talking about irrigation of this variety of wheat, first irrigation has to be done in 40 to 45 days, while second irrigation is to be done in 70 to 75 days
