At his Panvel Farmhouse, Salman Khan was many times seen doing things that brought him peace & joy. He was seen working in paddy fields. From ploughing the fields to riding tractors & cutting crops, he could be seen practicing farming during the Covid-19 Lockdown also.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui
The actor, before venturing into the world of films, was a Farmer. Even after his success in Bollywood, he has not quit doing, what he used to do in earlier times, for about 20 years of his life. When he is not acting, he is tilling soil in his farms in Uttar Pradesh. He often shares glimpses from the mustard fields owned by his family.
Juhi Chawla
Juhi Chawla enjoys doing farming; she also came out in support of farmers, when the covid-19 pandemic had hit them hard. She lent her family farmland to the landless farmers to let them cultivate rice in the season.
“Since we are in a lockdown, I have decided to give our land to the landless farmers to farm on. We are letting them farm rice, this season & in return take a little portion of the produce for themselves. It’s not a new practice. It’s just going back to the past to the way farming was done decades ago, but then isn’t that the wiser way? Our farmers know the soil, land, air & wind far better than we city people ever will from our textbook knowledge”, she was quoted as saying by IANS.

The actress, Kangana Ranaut recently revealed that her mother single-handedly grows almost everything; one might need in a kitchen. She spends her time during the lockdown in her ancestral home in Manali, where she helped her mother in farming.
