Ashok Leyland, a leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles, introduced two new 4x2 tractors on Monday: the AVTR 4220 with 41.5T GCW and the AVTR 4420 with 43.5T GCW.

According to a press release from the firm, Ashok Leyland is now the first Indian OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) to offer tractors with a 41.5T and 43.5T GCW in a two-axle configuration.

The modular platform of Ashok Leyland, according to Sanjeev Kumar, Head - MHCV, delivers products that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of each customer.

The launch of these new AVTR models is another testament to our philosophy of "Aapki Jeet - Hamari Jeet," Kumar continued. "We will continue our journey of innovation with new models to meet the emerging demands of our customers." "The high GCW of AVTR 4220 and 4420 tractors permits customers to carry denser loads, thus delivering superior fuel efficiency and better TCO advantage."

Both models have GCW options of 41.5T and 43.5T with a suitable 2 axle trailer, and the tractors have a 6-cylinder engine with i-Gen6 technology coupled with higher fluid efficiency and lower DEF consumption, according to the company.
