1. Bowel Health

Ghee promotes your overall bowel health. Just consuming a spoon of it every day can help you in the regulation of your Gastrointestinal Tract

As it is an excellent source of butyric acid, that helps in keeping the intestines healthy. Ghee also aids constipation, taking 1-2 spoons of ghee with milk can help you to relieve constipated stomach.

Applying ghee on rotis or chappatis is a traditional thing in India. According to a recent study, around 4 tablespoons of oil provides you with your daily requirement of saturated fats per meal, one percent of that could be derived from sources such as ghee. And also, the application of ghee on chappatis could help in reducing its glycemic content, which contributes to making the chappatis more digestible and moist.

Although ghee can raise your cholesterol levels it is still a much safer option than refined oils.
