Govt. Launches mobile app "Matsya Setu" for Aqua farmers
Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Minister Giriraj Singh lauched mobile app 'Matsya Setu" to disseminate freshwater aquaculture technologies to aqua farmers. He said “the app will be surely helpful for the farmers to learn the advancements in the technologies and better management practices.” App is developed by ICAR- Central institute of freshwater aquaculture with funding support from National Fisheries development Board.

Area under Kharif soybean cultivation likely to increase 5-7% across India
The area under soybean planting is likely to increase by 5-7% across India this kharif season .D N Pathak, executive director, Soybean Processors Association of India (SOPA) said that the area under cultivation increase subject to the fact it rains in the next five to six days. Farmers have prepared their own seeds and there is no real seed shortage in the market.
Kashmir exports first commercial shipment of Mishri Cherries to Dubai
In a step towards boosting horticultural exports, the first commercial shipment of Mishri variety of cherries from Kashmir valley has been exported to Dubai. Misri variety of cherries tastes delicious and contains vitamins, minerals and plant compounds with health benefits.

Dhanuka will launch new product on 10 July
Dhanuka Plans to launch new advanced herbicide on 10th July via online platform named "Vinashak". This product can be a game changer for farmers as it will help them to control broad and narrow leaves herbicide with better retention on field.

India Glycols sets up joint venture for renewable ethylene oxide derivatives
India Glycols Limited, manufacturer of chemicals, and Clariant International, formed joint venture for renewable ethylene oxide (EO). The joint venture will be named Clariant IGL Specialty Chemicals Private Limited. The venture combines India Glycols's renewable bio-ethylene oxide derivatives business with specialties business in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Mr. US Bhartia CMD IGL said "I am very to move ahead and leverage IGL’s position as the largest manufacturer of green EO in the world in a value-generating combination with Clariant."
