WayCool Foods, India's top food, and agri-tech platform built a first-of-its-kind food flag showcase covering over 7632 square feet near its Distribution Center in Kannamangala, Bangalore, in honor of the country's 75th Independence Day - Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The food flag represented India's successful transition from a country with a food scarce to one with a food surplus as well as its journey to become a global food powerhouse. Additionally, it is among the world's top producers of fruits and vegetables.

Immediately following the event, the fruits and vegetables used to make the flag were given to The Akshaya Patra Foundation. WayCool effectively replicated the tri-colors of the flag using a fine range of fresh produce grown in India, including carrots, radishes, green okra, beans, capsicum, as well as value-added items like Potato flakes and more. This was a new approach to the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. The usage of over 20 tonnes and various fresh product varieties shows India's remarkable versatility and diversity of agricultural output. White was made up of carrots, radishes, and potato flakes to depict the saffron, while the flag's magnificent green was made up of capsicum, beans, and ladies' finger (green okra).

The company also made use of its handling and storage technologies to guarantee that no product utilized in the display was wasted and that it was handled as hygienically as possible. Following that, the produce was given to the Akshaya Patra Foundation. The company, which produced one of the largest Food Flags ever, also made sure to feed the hungry while wasting almost no food.
