PMFAI: 16th International Crop-Science Conference & Exhibition Starts in Dubai Today

The show features biopesticides, laboratories, research institutes, associated chemicals and raw material suppliers, as well as consultants and experts in the agrochemical industry. Pesticides Manufacturers & Formulators Association of India (PMFAI) is organizing India's largest Agri Inputs Trade Summit (includes, Fungicides, Herbicides, Insecticides, pesticide and intermediate (solvents, Surfactants, intermediates, etc.), fertilizer, agrochemical packaging, seeds) on 14 & 15 February 2022 in Le Meridien Hotels & Conference Centre, Airport Road, Dubai-UAE.

Views of Eminent Speakers:

On the occasion, Rajesh Aggarwal, MD, Insecticides (India) Limited, began his speech by introducing the company, Insecticides India Ltd, which is dedicated to fortifying agriculture with a highly productive and progressive vision and mission to make Farmers prosperous. “We are involved in manufacturing, training, and research and development,” he adds. "We are active in all directions of the Agri sector and we are a reliable partner for anyone and everybody."

The world produces food for 11 billion people, and we are only 7.8, but there are still people who do not have enough to eat, he adds, adding that we in the agricultural sector bear significant responsibilities.

"We must collaborate in order to fulfill these important responsibilities. There are enough opportunities for everyone to coexist, he adds, stating that different technologies, companies, and even companies with different themes can coexist. He goes on to say that there are numerous examples of companies contributing in various directions doing well."

He emphasized that many people complain about the negative effects of agrochemicals such as pesticides and insecticides on crops and agricultural commodities. He emphasizes the global population figures, which can only be fed by using insecticides and agrochemicals on crops. 

Om Dande, Regional Sales Manager, Crop Care South Asia at Croda, also addressed the gathering. He discussed various factors that contribute to more sustainable agriculture, such as the growth of organic agriculture, technological advances, and the rapid growth of the seed treatment market.

He also highlighted Croda's biological activities, which are as follows:
