7th Pay Commission: Central Govt Employees to get DA Hike in June, Salary May Hike Up to Rs, 40,000

Following the lead of the federal government, numerous states have boosted their employees' dearness allowances. In the centre, a 34 per cent dearness allowance (DA rate) is currently available.

Under the 7th Pay Commission, the Maharashtra government announced an increase in the dearness allowance. It is anticipated that the DA installment would be paid soon. Maharashtra government employees currently receive a 31 percent dearness allowance, which is expected to be enhanced to 34 percent shortly.

Following the lead of the federal government, numerous states have boosted their employees' dearness allowances. In the center, a 34 percent dearness allowance (DA rate) is currently available.

According to recent reports, the Maharashtra government has announced that under the Seventh Pay Commission, the dearness allowance will be increased through installments. Since then, it has been reported that 5 installments will be paid in arrears.

It has already been paid in two installments by the government. It's now time for the third installment. This government decision will directly benefit nearly 17 lakh Maharashtra government employees. 

Employees of the Maharashtra government, as well as Zilla Parishad and Municipal Corporation employees, were subjected to the 7th Pay Commission in 2019.  Following this, the government decided that beginning in 2019-20, employees would be paid their dues in five installments over five years.

The employees have received two installments so far. Currently, the employees have received two installments. In June, you can pay the third installment. Following that, the fourth and fifth installments will be paid this year as well.

The government's decision will result in a significant increase in the compensation of Group A officers in government employees under the 7th pay commission. Approximately Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 will rise at the same time. Officers in Group B will receive a bonus of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 at the same time.

Group C officers will receive a stipend of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000, while those in the fourth category will receive a stipend of Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000. In Maharashtra, the DA for government employees is now 31.
