Assembly Election 2022: From Uttar Pradesh to Punjab: Complete List of District-Wide Polls Inside!

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the dates for the most-anticipated 2022 Assembly election dates in Uttar Pradesh, including Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand, and Manipur. In UP Assembly election 2022 will be completed in total seven phases from February 10 to March 7, 2022.

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has released the dates for the highly awaited 2022 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, which includes the states of Punjab, Goa, Uttarakhand, and Manipur. From February 10 to March 7, 2022, the UP Assembly election will be held in seven phases.

Voting in Uttar Pradesh's 403 assembly seats will take place in a phased manner beginning from the western region and progressing towards the east.

Full Schedule of UP Assembly Elections 2022

In Uttar Pradesh, elections will be conducted to elect 403 members of the Legislative Assembly. As all major political parties put their foot down ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly election, Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party (SP) appears to have emerged as the ruling BJP's main rival. The Uttar Pradesh election will be held in seven phases on February 10, 14, 20, 23, 27, and March 3 and 7. Take a look at constituency-wise polling dates of UP election 2022:

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 1 Schedule (Feb 10)

On February 10, 2022, voting will take place in 58 assembly constituencies spread across 11 districts in the first phase of the UP election.

Polling District: Ghaziabad, Bulandshahr, Mathura, Agra, Aligarh, Shamli, Meerut, Meerut Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, and Baghpat

  • Last date of nomination - 21st January

  • Date of scrutiny - 4th January

  • Last date of withdrawal - 27th January

  • Date of polling - 10th February

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 2 Schedule (Feb 14)

On February 14, voting will take place in 55 assembly seats across nine districts in the second phase of the UP election 2022.

Polling District: Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Badaun, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, and Shahjahanpur

  • Date of scrutiny - 29th January

  • Last date of withdrawal - 31st January

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 3 Schedule (Feb 20)

On February 20, 2022, voting will take place in 59 assembly seats across 16 districts in the third phase of Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Polling District: Kannauj, Etawah, Auraiya, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Kasganj, Hathras, Firozabad, Etah, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, and Lalitpur

  • Last date of nomination - 1st February

  • Date of scrutiny - 2nd February

  • Last date of withdrawal - 4th February

  • Date of polling - 20th February

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 4 Schedule (Feb 23) 

Voting will take place in 60 assembly seats distributed across nine districts in the fourth phase of the UP Assembly elections 2022 on February 23.

Polling District: Lucknow, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Banda, Pilibhit, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sitapur, and Hardoi

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 5 Schedule (Feb 27)

Polling will take place on 60 seats in the fifth round of the UP Assembly election 2022, which will be held across 11 districts on February 27.

Polling District: Ayodhya, Amethi, Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Shravasti, Bahraich, Barabanki, and Gonda

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 6 Schedule (March 3)

In Uttar Pradesh's sixth round, 57 seats in ten districts will go to the elections. The sixth phase of voting will take place on March 3.

Polling District: Balrampur, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Sant Kabir Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Gorakhpur, Deoria, and Ballia

  • Date of scrutiny - 14th February

  • Last date of withdrawal - 16th February

  • Date of polling - 3rd March

UP Assembly Elections 2022: Phase - 7 Schedule (March 7)

On March 7, voting will take place in 54 assembly seats spread across nine districts in the seventh phase of the Uttar Pradesh election.

Polling District: Azamgarh, Varanasi, Mirzapur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Mau, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Sant Ravidas Nagar, and Sonbhadra

  • Last date of nomination - 17th February

  • Date of scrutiny - 18th February

  • Last date of withdrawal - 21st February

  • Date of polling - 7th March

UP Assembly Elections 2022 Result Date

The counting of votes in Uttar Pradesh, along with four other states where election dates have been confirmed, will take place on March 10.

Punjab Assembly Elections 2022: 

Elections will be conducted to elect 117 members of Punjab's Legislative Assembly. The current assembly's tenure, which was elected in 2017, will expire on March 27, 2022. The main contest in the 2018 elections will be between the ruling Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). On February 14, 2022, the Punjab Assembly elections will be conducted in a single phase.
