At the border of Delhi, farmers demonstrating against the Centre's agricultural laws agreed to move up their agitation with a 4-point initiative. The last of these is a proposal to obstruct railways throughout the nation on February 18, a coalition of farmers' groups, Samyukt Kisan Morcha, said.

Dimensionally stable last week from their good three-hour road block, the farmers agreed to go on another time-bound initiative. Farm chief Darshan Pal said in a statement that the railway obstruction will take effect for four hours, from 12 until 4 pm.

The 4-point program will start on February 12, with an arrangement to make toll plazas crosswise Rajasthan "free".

Since the start of their fights on Delhi borders in November, the farmers have assumed control over toll plazas in a few places of the nation and permitting vehicles to pass for nothing. The move has massively angered the Central and a few state governments, which have been attempting to reclaim the toll plazas.
