ICAR-CIRCOT and Relegare Agro Life Bio Science Forge Partnership to Tackle Agricultural Waste

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Institute for Research on Cotton Technology (ICAR-CIRCOT), based in Mumbai has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M/s. Relegare Agro Life Bio Science Private Limited, headquartered in Ahmednagar (MH), on Thursday, March 21.

The MoU, formalized by Dr. S. K Shukla, Director of ICAR-CIRCOT, and Mr. G. T. Gadekar, Director of Relegare Agro Life Bio Science, sets the stage for collaborative efforts aimed at developing microbial inoculum for the in-situ degradation of agricultural waste. The focus lies particularly on boosting the rapid degradation of agro residues, such as post-harvest sugarcane leaves, under field conditions.

Innovative Techniques for Sustainable Agriculture

Relegare Agro Life Bio Science, a Bio-pesticides, Bio-fertilizers, and Bio-fungicide producer adheres to Euro-Global Certification (US) for good manufacturing processes. The company leverages nanotechnology for innovative agricultural solutions. These initiatives address challenges posed by various pests, diseases, and climate change impacts on crops.
