IIT Mandi Placement 2023: Check CTC, Highest Salary Package & Top Recruiters
Given the institute's recent founding, it has consistently scored admirably in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings.
Phase 1 campus placement for 2022–2023 at IIT Mandi was completed in December. In the first round, 249 students were placed, with 70 receiving pre-placement offers with an average pay of Rs 25.23 lakh annually.
More than 85 companies took part in the placement process, and 140 domestic and foreign companies have registered with the college till now.
In comparison to the previous year, there was a 50% increase in the number of job offers and 25 percent increase in PPOs. A rise in the average salary of Civil engineers was also noticed.
Past year CE placement:
The total number of students placed in Civil Engineering has been nearly the same for the past years since there were 20 students in 2019, 2020, and 2021, and 18 in 2021. A declining trend has been noticed since 2019; From 20 in 2019 to 15 in 2020 and 2021, and 16 in 2022.

11 students were placed in 2022, while the total number of offers was 19. Similarly, 8 out of 10 offers were finalized in 2021, 11 out of 3 in 2020, and 16 out of 18 in 2019. In 2022 the average salary has increased from Rs 7.83 lakh per annum in 2019 to Rs 11.43 lakh per annum, while it was 6.9 lakh per annum in 2020 and Rs 10.89 lakh per annum in 2021.
Overall Placements:
For the past three years—2020, 2021, and 2022—IIT Mandi has had a strong record of effectively placing students. There were 191 eligible students in 2021–2022; 167 of them signed up for placements; and 156 of them were placed. There were 146 eligible students in 2020–21, 126 of them signed up for placements, and 102 of them were placed. 101 students were placed out of the 119 students who signed up for placements in 2019–20.

L&T, Denso, Capgemini, Deloitte, Accenture, Future First, Eclerx, Evalueserve, and ICICI Bank, are the major companies and organizations that have visited the campus for placement and internship.
