IMD Predicts Light Rainfall, Snowfall in These States for Next 3 Days; No Significant Change in Temperature
Western Disturbance will bring fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning on February 22 and February 24. In addition to this, isolated light to moderate rainfall is also very likely over Punjab on February 22.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) projected wet spell over northeast India on 21st February. The statement further stated that isolated rainfall is quite expected over the state of Arunachal Pradesh on February 21st.
The weather department further stated that isolated hailstorm activity is anticipated across east Arunachal Pradesh and north east Assam for next few hours.
On 22nd and 23rd of February, wet spell is expected across the Western Himalayan region with isolated light rainfall over the adjoining plains of northwestern India.
On 22nd of February, strong surface winds (25-35 kmph) are expected to prevail over Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. On 22 February 2022, similar circumstances will also persist across north Rajasthan.

On February 22, isolated heavy rain/snowfall is very likely across Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad.
Strong surface winds (25-35 kmph) are likely to prevail in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and north Rajasthan on February 22.
On 21st of February, widespread to light/moderate rainfall is quite possible over Arunachal Pradesh, with scattered to light/moderate rainfall across over Assam-Meghalaya and Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura.
Isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall is probable across Sub-Himalayan West Bengal-Sikkim, aver Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, and Jharkhand. On 24th of February, East India will expect isolated to scattered light/moderate rainfall.
According to the IMD forecast, isolated light rainfall is predicted to persist across Tamilnadu-Puducherry-Karaikal and Kerala for the next 5 days.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the Western Himalayan Region is very likely to experience isolated light rainfall or snowfall as a result of the Western Disturbance.
Furthermore, isolated light rain is expected across Punjab, West Rajasthan, and Haryana during the next 24 hours. Furthermore, between February 22 and 24, the Western Disturbance will produce widespread light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lightning. In addition, isolated mild to moderate rain is expected throughout Punjab on February 22. The IMD forecasts no major change in low temperatures in most regions of the nation during the next five days.
