Rajasthan Agriculture University Awards Certificates, Empowering 48 Candidates for Agricultural Input Procurement Licenses

Rajasthan Agriculture University concluded a one-year Agricultural Input Supplier Certificate Course, empowering 48 candidates to get licenses for agricultural inputs procurement.

The one-year Agricultural Input Salesman Certificate Course organized by the Department of Entomology, Rajasthan Agriculture University (Maharana Pratap Agriculture and Technology University, Udaipur), concluded on May 4, 2024. During this program, certificates were distributed to 48 candidates, enabling them to obtain licenses from the State Government's Agriculture Department for the procurement of inputs related to agriculture such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, and agricultural machinery.

The Chief Guest of the program, Chancellor Dr. Ajit Kumar Karnataka, addressed the candidates, elaborating extensively on the appropriate use of pesticides and biological control, and encouraged them for farmers' and agricultural services.

Meanwhile, Dr. Lokesh Gupta, Founder of Rajasthan Agriculture University, Dr. Ravindra Verma, Program Coordinator, and Dr. S. Ramesh Babu, Head of the Department of Entomology, along with the University's Student Welfare Officer Dr. M.K. Mahla, also familiarized the candidates with agricultural-related information.

During the ceremony, Dr. Urmila Chaudhary (Technical Assistant) conducted the proceedings, where research scholars of Entomology Dr. Birendra Singh, Amit Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Neha Dudi, and others were present.
