Ration Card Update: Good News! Central Government Makes a Big Announcement

Aadhaar-Ration Link: This news for ration card beneficiaries. The government has given another great opportunity to the beneficiaries. Actually, the government has extended the last date to link the ration card with Aadhaar.

Beneficiaries will now be able to link their ration cards with Aadhaar by June 30, 2022. If you have not yet linked your ration card with Aadhaar, then hurry up. The Dept of Food and Public Distribution has given this information by issuing a notification for this. Let us tell you that earlier its last date was ending on 31 March.

The beneficiaries of the ration card get ration at a low price as well as many other benefits. The Central Government has started the 'One Nation One Ration Card' scheme. Under this, lakhs of people in the country are getting benefits. Many benefits are available with food grains under the ration card. You can take advantage of the 'One Nation One Ration Card' scheme by linking the Aadhar card with the ration card. With this, you can get ration from the ration card shop of any state of the country.

Link Aadhar Card online like this:

• For this, first go to the official website uidai.gov.in.

• Now you click on 'Start Now'.

• Here you have to fill in your address.

• After this click on the option of 'Ration Card Benefit'.

• Now enter your Aadhar card number, ration card number, e-mail address, mobile number, etc.

• After filling it, an OTP will come on your registered mobile number.

• After filling the OTP, you will get the message of process completion on your screen.

• As soon as all this process is completed, your Aadhaar will be linked with your ration card.

Link Aadhaar & Ration Card Offline:

In order to link the Aadhar card with the ration card, the documents required are the copy of the Aadhar card, the copy of the ration card and the passport size photograph of the ration card holder to be submitted at the ration card centre. Apart from this, biometric data verification of your Aadhar card can also be done at the ration card centre.
