Elections 2022: Akhilesh Yadav unveiled the Samajwadi Party's electoral manifesto for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections in 2022 on Tuesday. The SP's manifesto is titled 'Samajwadi Vachan Patra.' In its platform, the Akhilesh-led SP vowed to waive off farmer loans in four years and to grant Rs.25 lakh each to families who lost loved ones during farm laws protest.
The opposition party also promised an 'Urban Employment Guarantee Act' on the lines of MNREGA if voted to power.

If SP is elected, Farms Corpus Fund will be established; a minimum support price will be granted for all crops, and sugarcane growers would be paid within 15 days.
