On Monday, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will hand over the YSR Rythu Bharosa PM Kisan financial aid to farmers. This will be Jagan's fourth year of providing financial assistance to farmers under the scheme. After disbursing the funds, the chief minister will address the public in Ganapavaram village, Eluru constituency.
Under the YSR Rythu Bharosa PM Kisan scheme, the government has given each qualified farmer 13,500 per year in three distinct phases. On Monday, the CM will disburse the first installment of Rs 5,000.
According to an official statement, the first payment of the YSR Rythu Bharosa PM Kisan scheme would see Rs 3,758 crore deposited into the accounts of 50.10 lakh farmers. "AP is the only state in the country that gives out Rs 13,500 per year to tens of thousands of farmers, even those who have forest land rights," agriculture minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy said.
This year, 48.77 lakh people have been identified as being eligible for the scheme. There are 47.86 lakh landowners and 91,000 forest cultivators among them.
Meanwhile, from Friday, the list of farmers qualifying for the Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan program has been exhibited at RBK for social audit, and officials have taken public comments until the 8th of this month. By accepting eligible requests that do not fit on the list, arrangements will be made to eliminate the names of those who are unsuitable and to ensure that assistive aid is supplied to them after field inspection.
Under the YSR Rythu Bharosa-PM Kisan Scheme, the Central and State Governments are giving financial assistance of Rs. 13,500 per year in three installments to each qualifying landowner.
The central government has authorized Rs. 6000 to be credited to farmers' accounts, with the state government providing the remaining Rs. 7,500. The state government will deposit the first payment of Rs. 5,500 on May 15 as part of this.
