Best Way of Farming By the Moon & the Signs
Whether or not you believe that your destiny is governed by stars, and you probably know which astrological sign you were born under. Astrology is just an amusement to many of us, but to our ancestors, natural astrology was actually important in predicting seasonal events & weather. The well-informed planters used the positions of sun, moon & constellations to manage their livestock & crops.
A very simple but practical demonstration of the planetary influence is to plant the seed, when the Moon is in a fruitful sign such as CANCER, it is considered as the most fruitful Zodiac, and then when the Moon is in barren sign, LEO, you can plant some more lot of seeds. The results will clearly show the wisdom & advantage of working in a harmony with Nature-putting all your work in time with her vibrations, so to speak, because of the difference in yield forms the planting.
Best Planting Signs
The astrologers say that the best planting is done in the signs of SCORPIO, PISCES, TAURUS, or CANCER. You can plant all the things that yield above the ground in the increase of the Moon & plant all the things that yield below the ground when the Moon is decreasing.
Never plant in barren sign. As they are only good for trimming, grubbing, deadening & destroying noxious growths.
As LIBRA, denotes beauty, being an airy sign, it is considered best for the flowers. The seeds should be planted in the First Quarter of the Moon unless the seeds from plants are desired in which case, plant between the Second Quarter & the Full Moon.
