7th Pay Commission Latest Update On DA HikeThere is a big news for lakhs of central government employees after the budget 2022. The Dearness Allowance has been enhanced by the Modi government (DA). The government has increased the dearness allowance (DA Hike) for central government employees to 14% following the budget 2022.

Know, Who Are The Eligible Candidates of 14% DA Hike?

The Dearness Allowance (DA) of the central government employees has been enhanced by the government. There will be a significant increase in their compensation following this. Employees' DA has been hiked by 14% and not 3%. One most important thing is that this increase in DA would be available solely to employees of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs).

Employees DA Has Been Revised By 184.1% 

In January, the Dearness Allowance of the Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) was updated. Employees previously received DA at a rate of 170.5%, but this has now been increased to 184.1%.

As Per Information Provided By Government

According to media sources, Under Secretary Samuel Haque stated that the benefit will be given to CPSEs board level and below board level officers. The Dearness Allowance (DA) of these employees have been updated. All of these employees will now receive DA at a rate of 184.1%.

What Will Happen To The Dearness Allowance Arrears of Central Government Employees?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has issued a major update on Dearness Allowance arrears. The government has said clearly that the payment of DA arrears for the past 18 months has not been considered. 

From January 2020 to June 2021, central government employees were continuously demanding on receiving the withheld DA. Government employees expected the government to consider granting DA arrears, however the government has previously provided explanation.
