Women Empowerment To Remain Prime Focus For The Government: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Tuesday that the Indian government will continue to focus on women's empowerment through different schemes, emphasising dignity and opportunity.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the Indian government will continue to focus on women's empowerment through different schemes, emphasizing dignity and opportunity. 

"On Women's Day, I applaud our Nari Shakti and their successes in many disciplines," the Prime Minister wrote in a series of tweets on 'International Women's Day.' The Indian government will continue to focus on women's empowerment through its numerous initiatives, with a focus on dignity and opportunity. 

"Many attempts have been undertaken to put our Nari Shakti in the forefront of India's development path, from financial inclusion to social security, excellent healthcare to housing, education to entrepreneurship. In the next years, these efforts will be stepped up even further "He expressed himself.

In the evening, the Prime Minister attended an event in Kutch to honour the contributions of women saints to our society. The event is being held to honour the role of female saints in society and their contributions to women's liberation. The Seminar in Dhordo, Kutch, will draw around 500 women saints. 

Sessions on culture, religion, female empowerment, security, social standing, and the role of women in Indian culture will be held throughout the seminar. The welfare systems of the central and state governments that support women, as well as women's achievements, will be highlighted. 

Over the last several years, the Government of India has implemented several schemes aimed at providing women with their due social dignity and earning opportunities. Given the history of gender disparity in Indian culture, the government has taken steps to achieve equality at all levels, empower women, and improve childhood education.
