AP SSC Class 10 Results 2024 Declared: Overall Pass Rate at 86.69%, Girls Outshine Boys

Female students lead with an 89.17% pass rate and Parvathipuram Manyam district tops at 96.37%.

The much-awaited results of the Andhra Pradesh Secondary School Certificate (AP SSC) Class 10 examinations for the year 2024 were announced today by the Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP). The results were declared during a press conference held in Vijayawada, at 11 am.

According to the announcement made during the press conference, the overall pass rate for the AP SSC Class 10 exams stands at 86.69 percent. Male candidates achieved a pass rate of 84.32 percent, while female candidates outperformed them with an impressive pass rate of 89.17 percent.

Students can conveniently access their scorecards by visiting the official BSEAP website, bse.ap.gov.in, and entering their roll number and roll code. The district-wise performance revealed Parvathipuram Manyam district as the frontrunner, boasting an exceptional pass percentage of 96.37 percent. Conversely, Kurnool district reported the lowest pass rate at 62.47 percent, indicating variations in educational outcomes across different regions of the state.

The AP SSC examinations were conducted between March 18 and March 30, witnessing participation from over 6.3 lakh students. A notable initiative undertaken by the AP board was the provision of audio question papers for visually impaired students, reflecting efforts towards inclusive education.

Last year's results highlighted a trend where English medium students outperformed their Telugu medium counterparts. Out of a total of 4,32,641 English medium students, an impressive 3,49,673 passed, resulting in an 80.82 percent pass rate. In contrast, out of 1,68,107 Telugu medium students, only 84,047 managed to pass, leading to a 50 percent pass rate.
