The North Central Railway's (NCR) Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has issued an application request for candidates interested in applying for Apprentice positions in several recognized trades. Until August 02, 2022, interested candidates may submit their applications online at rrcpryj.org, the RRC's website.

The official notification states that this recruitment campaign will fill a total of 1659 open positions. Selected candidates who are hired as Apprentices will complete an apprenticeship program for a year and receive a stipend during the program at the stipulated rate by the rules currently in effect and administered by the respective State Governments.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidate must have completed ITI in the pertinent trade provided by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India, as well as SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least a 50 percent overall score from a recognized Board.

Application Fee: The application cost is Rs 100 for candidates. SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants do not need to pay a fee.

Selection Process:

The merit list, which would be created using the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the Applicants in both Matriculation [with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weight to both, would be used to select the eligible Applicants for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961.
