Krishi Jagran's initiative, the 'MFOI, VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra,' in partnership with STIHL, recently marked its presence in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, as part of its extensive journey across India's western and central belts. On Monday, March 11, 2024, the Yatra made a stop at Baderafutkar village in Gwalior, engaging with the local farming community. The visit began with a gathering of the village's farmers, followed by informative sessions on the 'Millionaire Farmer of India Awards', including guidance on how to participate across more than 150 categories.

Supported by Sarpanch Kalyan Singh Kushwaha, the initiative succeeded in reaching a wider audience within the community. A highlight of the visit was the live demonstration of the Stihl Power Weeder, showcasing modern agricultural technologies to the local farmers for weeding their farms.

The 'MFOI, VVIF Kisan Bharat Yatra' is a heartfelt tribute to the unsung agricultural heroes of India. Spanning over 200 days and covering 4,520 locations across India, the Yatra aims to connect with over one lakh millionaire farmers, symbolizing a collective stride towards agricultural advancement and honoring the indomitable spirit of the Indian farmer.

Central to this journey is the 'Millionaire Farmer of India Awards,' sponsored by Mahindra Tractors, which seeks to commend the contributions of farmers to the agricultural sector. The awards, celebrating a wide array of categories from horticulture to organic and dairy farming, are set to be held from December 1 to 5, 2024. Krishi Jagran extends an invitation to the agricultural community to nominate candidates for the second edition of the 'MFOI Awards 2024', fostering a culture of recognition and encouragement within the farming fraternity.
