Veterinary Varsity Youth Festival Starts with Knowledge Sharing and Brush Art
Dr. H.S. Banga, Registrar inaugurated the off-stage phase of the youth festival. Dr Meera D Ansal, Dean, College of Fisheries, Dr S K Uppal, Dean, Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Y.P.S. Malik, Dean College of Animal Biotechnology, and Dr Opinder Singh, Controller of Examinations was guest of honor in the different competition sessions.

'1,098 Machines Available in Mohali District for Stubble Management,' Says DC
Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain visited villages near Banur on November 4, where she provided support and encouragement to farmers who have been using crop residue management machinery to handle stubble. The district administration also appealed to all farmers in the district to avoid burning stubble and instead use mechanical methods for the greater good of the community.

Tur and Urad Stock Limits Extended Until December 31 to Stabilize Prices
The Indian government has decided to extend the stock limits on two essential commodities, tur and urad, governed by the Essential Commodities Act of 1955. This extension will be in effect until December 31, 2023. The stock limits were initially imposed on June 2 and were set to expire on October 31. This move is aimed at regulating the storage and availability of these pulses in the market.
