  • MFOI 2023 National, State Coordinators' List Released

    The Millionaire Farmer of India Awards (MFOI) 2023 will be held from December 6 to 8 at IARI, Mela Ground, Pusa, New Delhi. Here's a look at the list of national and state coordinators. The Millionaire Farmer of India Awards is all set to be conducted from December 6 to 8, 2023, celebrating the hard work of farmers who have made it big in the field of agriculture. MFOI 2023 has a vast list of participants. The awards will be distributed in 25 categories. 

  • Nauni Varsity Scientists Bag ISAF Fellowship and Best Paper Awards

    The Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry bagged the best paper and Indian Society of Agroforestry (ISAF) Fellowship awards for the year 2022. The Annual Group Meeting of All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Agroforestry cum Symposium on Quality Planting Material was held earlier this week at Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad. It was attended by 37 AICRP Agroforestry Centres, representing all the agro-climatic zones of the country. The event was inaugurated by Dr SK Chaudhary ICAR DDG.

  • AVPL Collaborates With Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board

    AVPL, a global leader in the drone industry specializing in cutting-edge agricultural drones, collaborated with Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board to organise a Multistate Conference on the 'Promotion of Inter-State Trade and Sharing of Infrastructure between State Agricultural Marketing Boards' event to educate agricultural boards on advanced drone technology. The event, held at Chandigarh, was attended by Chief Guest J P Dalal, Minister of Agriculture, Haryana, and Guest of Honour Vijayendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary, Agriculture, Govt of Haryana with senior officials from Multiple states including Rajasthan, Goa, Assam, Telangana and many more.

  • 'Fish Distribution in Indian Waters Getting Affected Due to Rising Sea Surface Temperatures': ICAR

    Rising sea surface temperature (SST) is affecting fish distribution patterns in Indian waters, said Dr J K Jena, Deputy Director General of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). He was outlining India’s research initiatives for the climate-resilient marine fisheries at the inauguration of the global conclave on mainstreaming climate change into international fisheries governance in Mahabalipuram on Tuesday.
