  • Weather alert: Heavy Rainfall Likely in Delhi for the next few days

    Temperature in Delhi dropped on Friday after heavy rainfall but led to traffic jams and flooding in several parts of the city. The sudden rainfall also brought relief from the intense humidity of the past few days.

    According to India Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall was very likely in many states in the North & Central India. Weather office said that Delhi and many northern states will continue to witness rainfall during the weekend.

  • Covid-19 Latest Updates: All Shops, Offices & Malls to Remain Shut on Mondays and Tuesdays in Haryana

    The Haryana government today (28th August 2020) revised its previous order and informed that all shops, malls and offices will remain closed on Mondays & Tuesdays till further orders. The revised decision has come hardly a week after the state government had re-imposed weekend lockdown restrictions ordering that all offices and shops (except those dealing in essential services) will remain shut.

  • Centre Appreciates Telangana Government's Innovative Agri schemes like Rythu Bandhu

    The Agriculture Ministry has praised and hailed the Telangana government’s beneficial agriculture schemes such as Rythu Bandhu & formation of Rythu Samanvaya Samithies. Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Agriculture Minister on Thursday held a video conference with several Chief Ministers as well as Agriculture Ministers from the states. Tomar also sought opinions regarding the Central government’s proposed Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Scheme from the state governments.
