  • Sugar Costs More Than Petrol In Pakistan

    The price of sugar in Pakistan zoomed past the prices of Petrol on 4th November (Thursday). Despite the government’s assurance of working to curb prices of essential items in the country, sugar is being sold as high as Rs 150 per kg in different cities while the price of petrol is currently being sold at Rs 138.30 per liter in the country.

  • Know Why Petrol & Diesel Price Rise Again?

    On 4th November (Thursday), one of an expert Narendra Taneja said that the prices of petrol & diesel will be increased again in the coming months. He said that “It is to understand that we import oil. It is an imported commodity. Today, we have to import around 86% of our total oil use. The prices of oils are not in the hand's government. Both petrol & diesel are decontrol commodities. In July 2010, Manmohan Singh’s government implemented deregulation on petrol. In 2014, the Modi government also decontrols the diesel”. He also said that the Covid pandemic is the reason for the rise of oil prices in the international market.
