West Bengal Central School Service Commission

WBSSC is a WB State Government organization that was established on November 1, 1997, under West Bengal Act-IV 1997. Its primary function is to appoint the best candidates for positions such as Assistant Teachers, Headmasters, Headmistresses, and so on in the state's Non-Government Aided Schools. The commission's headquarters are in Bidhannagar, Kolkata, at Acharya Sadan. The commission also has offices in each of its five regions. Every year, this commission holds a slew of recruitment exams to fill various positions in Non-Government Aided Schools.
