Online Training Program on Soil Quality Assessment and Land Management will be organized by National Environmental Engineering Research Institute from December 14-15, 2021. Land, a non-renewable resource, is central to all primary production systems and its contamination has attracted considerable public attention in recent decades.
The objective of Training Program:

The major objective of the training programme is to impart training on soil quality assessment and management of degraded land practices to make participants well acquainted with the interpretation of data related to soil quality and land management practices to be adopted for the restoration of biodiversity.

In order to preserve the biodiversity & the productivity of the land, control measures are to be taken in achieving sustainable land use and management systems, to balance productivity and environmental protection.
