  • Protecting Annadata's Interest: Top Priority on UP Govt's Agenda, says CM Adityanath

    The Uttar Pradesh government's goal is to protect farmers' interests, said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 1 while chairing a review meeting on agricultural loss caused by untimely rain and hailstorms. According to a statement, Adityanath, who presided over a high-level meeting, also told officials that there should be no delays in compensating farmers affected by the unseasonal rainfall.

    The Uttar Pradesh government has instructed officials to promptly implement "Early Warning Systems" to deliver accurate and timely weather forecasts to farmers, enabling them to make preparations in advance. The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, conducted a meeting to evaluate the damage caused by unexpected rain and hailstorm in nine districts of the state within the past day. During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed the relief commissioner to examine the crops that had been destroyed and make arrangements for compensating the affected farmers.
