Bombay High Court Orders Aurangabad Bank to Disburse Loans to Farmers for Kharif Season
Giving some relief to growers who feared losing the opportunity to sow crops during the ongoing Kharif season, a division bench of Bombay high court has asked the Aurangabad District Central Cooperative Bank to disburse loans to cultivators with immediate effect.
The bank declined to give fresh loans as it was waiting to recover interest on the loans that were waived off by the state government under Mahatma Phule Karj Mukti Yojana. Waived loans were given by the bank between 1 January 2019, and 1 October 2019.

Central Water Commission Issues Severe Flood Warning for Arunachal Pradesh, Assam as Heavy Rain Continues
A severe flood warning has been issued for Arunachal Pradesh and Assam today after the water level in Brahmaputra river started flowing above the danger mark & rainfall in the states continued for the fourth day. The flood warning has been issued by the Central Water Commission for both states. More than 8 lakh people have been affected by Assam floods, across 1,352 villages in 21 districts. The worst-hit areas are Dhemaji in Upper Assam & Barpeta in Lower Assam. And in Arunachal Pradesh, low-lying regions of Namsai and Pasighat have been flooded.

Coronavirus Latest News: After Amitabh Bachchan & Abhishek, Aishwarya Rai & Aaradhya Test Positive
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan who was admitted to Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital on 11th July after testing positive for Coronavirus along with his son Abhishek Bachchan, is currently stable with mild symptoms, the hospital informed. Two residences of Bachchan’s - Jalsa and Janak have also been sealed & declared containment zone. As per latest news report, Abhishek’s wife Aishwarya Rai and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan have also tested Corona positive.

UP Lockdown News: Offices and Markets in Uttar Pradesh will Remain Close in Weekends
The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a major decision and has decided to close all the offices and markets in the state on weekends i.e. Saturday and Sunday.
The decision to shut-down markets was taken by UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath to check the spread of Covid-19 pandemic. Awanish K Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary of Home Department said that banks & other industrial units will not be closed.
