Patanjali Working on the Virus That Causes Lumpy Skin Disease: Baba Ramdev
On Friday, Baba Ramdev stated that the Patanjali Group is attempting to develop a cure for Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD), which has caused the deaths of about 1 lakh cows. Ramdev recommended that the government spread knowledge about the disease, which he said may have "come from Pakistan."

States to Promote Natural Farming to Increase Farmers' Income
Manohar Lal Khattar, chief minister of Haryana, and Bhupendra Patel, the chief minister of Gujarat, said on Friday that their respective states will promote natural farming to increase farmer income. Gujarat governor Acharya Devvrat hosted a seminar on natural farming at Gurukul in Kurukshetra, and the chief ministers as well as members of their cabinets participated.

EPFO Update: Ex-gratia Amount Increased to Rs 8 Lakh; Details Inside
In a recent circular, the EPFO requested an increase in the ex-gratia amount from Rs. 4.2 lakh to Rs. 8 lakhs. According to the circular, the Central Board employee's family members (nominee or legal heirs) would get an ex-gratia amount of Rs. 8 lakh from the welfare fund. Only if the cause of death is other than corona.

Punjab CM Seeks Support from the German Agribusiness Alliance for Agri-Food Development
Punjab's Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Friday asked for help from the German Agribusiness Alliance (GBA) for the sustai nable growth of the state's agri-food sector. Mann, who is on a seven-day trip to Germany, met in Berlin on Thursday evening with senior GBA and other senior representatives. Mann stated that the expertise of the GAA, a b siness initiative of top associations and companies in the agri-food sector can be highly beneficial for the Punjabi food growers.
