  • India produces 306.65 lakh tonnes of Sugar; production up by 13%

    According to the trade data, the Sugar production of India rose 13% till 15th June in the marketing year of 2020-2021 at 306.65 lakh tonnes on a higher sugarcane production between 1st October 2020 & 15th June 2021.

  • SC issues notice to cancel the Class 10th & 12th exams

    The Supreme Court issued a notice to all the states, who are yet to cancel the Class 10th & 12th State Board exams. After the plea filed for the cancelation of the assessment by 12th Class students. As many as 18 states, have canceled the Class 10th & 12th State Board exams so far.

  • Due to higher crop demand among consumers potato farmers are at loss

    Due to the higher crop & sluggish demand among the consumers, the potato farmers are staring at a loss as the farm gate prices have fallen below their cost of production. Some trade sections blaming on rising the cooking oil prices, as the consumers are staying away from their favorite potato dishes including French fries, aloo tikkis, etc.

  • CM Assam hold meeting to review implementation of various projects

    The Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, held a meeting with Irrigation & Soil Conservation Department to review the implementation of various projects and directed the Irrigation Department to propose two big projects of total 1 lakh hectares of land.
