    The two-day, BioAgri-2022 concluded on Thursday in Delhi. The highlight of day two was a session on the theme “India: Global Gateway for BioAg solutions”. It was moderated by Dr. Venkatesh Devanur, Secretary of the BIPA-BioAgri Inputs Producers Association. The panelists of this session included A. Kulandaivel from Rallis India, who spoke on the huge domestic market potential in India and the level playing field.

  • PM Kisan Benefit Stopped for More Than 15 Lakh Farmers

    According to reports, over 15 lakh farmers in Jharkhand will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana as they failed to provide the required documents. The Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry has asked all the states including Jharkhand to provide the correct details of all the beneficiaries. The government is also in the process of identifying those who deceptively took the benefits under the scheme. The amount paid to such farmers will be recovered by the government.

  • Prices of Onion, Pulses to Remain Stable till December: Government

    "Prices of onion and pulses will not rise till December because we have enough buffer stock available with us," said Consumer Affairs Secretary Rohit Kumar Singh. Not only onion,prices of pulses are also likely to remain stable till December, PTI reported quoting Singh. He further said that 45 percent of onion is produced during the Kharif (summer) season while the remaining 65% is produced in the rabi (winter) season.
