  • Dabur India forays into syrups & spreads segment with Dabur Honey Tasties

    Dabur India announced its foray into the syrups and spreads category with the launch of ‘Dabur Honey Tasties’. The new product has been launched in two flavors – Chocolate and Strawberry. Dabur India’s marketing head – Prashant Agarwal said, “Dabur Honey has been trusted by generations as their preferred health and food supplement. We are now offering its nutrition for kids with our new range of flavored Honey, which is the perfect combination of taste and health.

     

  • Government to set up two lakh micro food processing enterprises from 2020-21 to 2024-25

    Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Shri Prahlad Singh Patel today said that as part of the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Initiative, MoFPI is implementing a Centrally Sponsored Schemefor setting up/upgradation of 2 lakh micro food processing enterprises.

  • India - 2030 Water Resources Group & Corteva Agriscience collaborate for sustainable rice project in UP

    Corteva Agriscience and the 2030 Water Resources Group (2030 WRG), hosted by the World Bank Group, have signed a project to promote sustainable rice production in Uttar Pradesh. The project has been conceived to build the capacity of farmers on the Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) technique of rice cultivation thus enabling sustainable livelihoods for farmers. Tim Glenn, Executive Vice President, Chief Commercial Officer of Corteva Agriscience said: “Corteva Agriscience works closely with farmers to provide tools and advice they need to achieve their goals while strengthening the resilience of their farming community.

  • Heavy Rain disrupts traffic on National Highway of Mumbai - Bengaluru

    On 23rd July Friday, the traffic on national highway of Mumbai-Bengaluru got disrupted after a stretch of road in Belgaum district of Karnataka got inundated, prompting police in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur to stop vehicles going to the neighboring state as a safety measure. The rainfalls are continued to lash the parts of Kolhapur, due to which the Panchganga river in district is flowing above the danger mark.

    Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), a premier nuclear research institute of Department of Atomic Energy in Mumbai, has launched a highly efficient super-hydrophobic (water disliking) and super-oleophilic (oil liking) cotton with the use of radiation technology.
