Uttarakhand CM Suggests Officers to Take Up Apple, Kiwi Production on Mission Mode
CM Dhami stated during a review of the Cooperative Department at the Secretariat that in addition to promoting their products, special attention should be paid to branding, packaging, and marketing. He said that nodal officers should be appointed for each PAX to strengthen the PAX, with a special focus on strengthening Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACS) in the state. Dhami believes that by promoting a natural farming cluster approach, efforts should be made to connect cooperatives with natural farming. According to the Chief Minister, these local products must be promoted to the fullest extent possible by encouraging millet production in the state.
