• CSIR's Republic Day Tableau Showcases 'Purple Revolution' and Women-Friendly Electric Tractor

  The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) stole the spotlight at the Republic Day Parade 2024 with its visually captivating tableau, emphasizing the success of the 'Purple Revolution' in Jammu & Kashmir. This agricultural transformation, propelled by CSIR's scientific interventions, has not only led to the phenomenal growth of lavender cultivation but also paved the way for the development of lavender-based products. The initiative has successfully taken lavender from the laboratory to the market, fostering the creation of several agri-start-ups in the region.

• Krishi Jagran Welcomes 40 Farmers, Directors of FPOs from Odisha

  With immense pride, Krishi Jagran welcomed 40 farmers in its New Delhi office who came all the way from Odisha and shared experiences of their struggles and strengths. Most farmers among them were women who are leading Farmer Producer Organisations comprising 600-700 members. These women expressed their gratitude toward MC Dominic, Founder, and Editor-in-Chief, Krishi Jagran for giving due credit to farmers of the country.

• HPCL's Biomass-Based CBG Plant in Badaun Promises to Boost Income of Local Farmers

  The innovative Biomass-based Compressed Biogas (CBG) Plant in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, has been inaugurated today by Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), marking a major advancement towards sustainable energy alternatives. The inauguration ceremony, held on January 27, 2024, was graced by the presence of Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Housing & Urban Affairs, and Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The CBG Plant in Badaun, with a processing capacity of 100 tons/day of rice straw, represents a groundbreaking initiative in line with the National Biofuel Policy 2018.

• Drone Didi Success Program Showcased to President Murmu by IIT Mandi iHub

  IIT Mandi iHub, a cutting-edge Technology Innovation Hub specialising in Human-Computer Interaction, has garnered prestigious recognition from the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) of India for its Drone Didi skill development program. On January 24, 2024, representatives from IIT Mandi iHub, including Somjit Amrit, CEO, IIT Mandi iHub, and Shashi Bala, a beneficiary of the Drone Didi program, presented the success of this initiative to the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, at the inauguration ceremony of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India’s ‘Kaushal Bhavan’ in New Delhi.
