IMD Issues Rain, Dense Fog Alert for These States
Light to moderate rain and snowfall are expected in various northern states until Wednesday, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) (29 December). Today and tomorrow, rain and snow are extremely expected in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh (27th & 28th). From now to Wednesday, similar weather conditions are expected in Uttarakhand. As per the latest weather forecast issued by the central weather forecasting agency, rainfall is also very likely over Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh & Rajasthan on 27 & 28 December 2021.

PM Modi Laid Foundation Stone our Hydro Power Projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, on Monday to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for hydropower projects worth more than 11,000 crore rupees. PM Modi will preside over the second groundbreaking ceremony of the Himachal Pradesh Global Investors' Meet at roughly 11:30 a.m., prior to the dam's inauguration. The meeting is anticipated to increase investment in the region by kicking off projects worth approximately 28,000 crores.

443.49 LMT of Paddy Procured in Kharif Marketing Season 2021 – 2022
As in recent years, paddy procurement is proceeding smoothly in Kharif Marketing Season (KMS) 2021-22 at MSP from farmers. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Rajasthan procured 443.49 LMT of paddy in KMS 2021-22 up to 26.12.2021. A total of 47.03 lakh farmers have received MSPs worth Rs. 86,924.46 crore so far.
