  • Weather Alert: Bihar and Many Others States to Receive Rainfall till 31 July

    Delhi Weather: Several parts of Delhi-NCR received light rainfall on Wednesday morning. According to India Meteorology Department (IMD) light to moderate rainfall will continue in the National Capital throughout the day.

    Meanwhile, widespread to fairly widespread rain is expected over Bihar till 31 July. The weather department has issued orange alert for Sheikhpura, Nawada & Jamui.

  • NFL, RCF ink MOUs with IFFCO for ‘Transfer of Technology’ of a revolutionary Nano Urea Liquid Fertiliser

    Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilisers Ltd (RCF) and National Fertilisers Limited (NFL) have signed Memorandum of Understanding with IFFCO for ‘transfer of technology’ of a revolutionary & game changer fertiliser Nano Urea Liquid.

    The MoUs and other related agreements were inked in the  presence of Mansukh Mandaviya, Minister of Chemicals & Fertilisers and Health & Family Welfare and Bhagwanth Khuba, Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilisers along with other senior officials of the ministry. 

  • Urea Provided to Farmers at Subsidized Rates

    Urea was provided to all farmers at a statutorily notified Maximum Retail Price or MRP of Rs.242 / 45 kg bag. Difference between the delivered cost of urea at farm gate & net market realization by urea units is provided as a subsidy to urea importer/ manufacturer by Government. Therefore, urea is supplied to all farmers at subsidized rates.

  • 6, 63,055 farmers engaged in Animal Husbandry & Fisheries given KCC until March

    As per latest reports, total 6, 63,055 farmers currently engaged in Animal Husbandry & Fisheries were given Kisan Credit Card (KCC) as on March, 2021. Reserve Bank of India said that the State or UT-wise details of operative KCC accounts & amount outstanding in Animal Husbandry & Fisheries as on March, 2021 is prepared.

  • Centre to Revive Talcher unit of Fertilizer Corporation of India Ltd

    Government has decided to renew Talcher unit of Fertilizer Corporation of India Ltd (FCIL) by establishing a Ammonia Urea plant of 12.7 Lakh Metric Tonne per year capacity by forming a Joint venture Company (JV) of nominated PSUs - Gas Authority of India Ltd (GAIL), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd, Coal India ltd & FCIL. For that, a JV company named “Talcher Fertilizers Ltd (TFL)” was incorporated on 03.11.2015.

  • Kin of 220 Deceased Farmers in Punjab to get Jobs

    The Punjab government is planning to offer jobs to the family members of as many as 220 farmers, who lost their lives during the ongoing protest against Centre's three farm laws.
