• Delhi may receive rainfall Today, Says IMD

  According to India Meteorological Department, Delhi may receive a thunderstorm along with rainfall on 2nd July Friday.

• Farmers’ income to be increased: P. Prasad

  Kerala Agriculture Minister P. Prasad said, that the state government is implementing a project and its aim is to increase the income of farmers. he said to ensure that farmers lead a dignified life, their income must be increased.

• Prices of Petrol & Diesel hiked in Chennai & Mumbai

  On 2nd July, the prices of Petrol & Diesel received another hike, after the 16 hikes last month, the price revision for both petrol & diesel continue in July as well. Petrol price crossed Rs 100 per litre in Chennai for the first time and it has crossed Rs 105 per litre in Mumbai.

• Kerala, gateway of monsoon running short of rainfall: IMD

  Kerala is considered to be the entry point of monsoon into mainland of the country but this time it’s still running short of rainfall said the India Meteorological Department.

• Anirudh Tiwari to be new in-charge of PAU

  The Punjab Agriculture University was buzzing with the activity, a day after its vice chancellor Baldev Singh Dhillon declined board of management’s offer to extend his tenure citing “Personal reason”. It’s been said that Anirudh Tiwari will be in-charge of agriculture university till new vice-chancellor can be appointed.

  On 1st July, The Life Insurance Corporation of India launched a Saral pension plan- a non-linked, non-participating, single premium, individual immediate annuity plan. This LIC Saral pension plan provides two annuity options to policy holders after the one-time lump sum amount payment.
