Roguing identifies and removes plants from agricultural areas with undesirable traits, such as those that are sick or have an unfavorable form, color, or variety. The plants, referred to as rogues, are eliminated in order to maintain the quality of the desired crop plants, frequently by avoiding the transmission of unwanted traits to the next generations.
