National Institute of Fashion Technology
The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a self-contained institute that provides courses in fashion, design, technology, and management. Its headquarters are in New Delhi, India. NIFT was founded in 1986 by the Government of India's Ministry of Textiles. The NIFT Act of the Indian Parliament established it as a statutory institute in 2006 and granted it the authority to grant its own degrees.
