3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) and Circular Economy as the basis for moving towards Zero Waste societies will be organized by EnvironFocus on 18 & 19 November 2021 in virtual mode. Currently, organizations determine financial success based on the GDP model, which is linear and wasteful. Moving to a circular economy will require a new way of thinking aimed at resource conservation.

Choudhury Rudra Charan Mohanty is currently leading the global networking for EST, 3R, and IPLA projects as an Environment Programme Coordinator/Expert. Prior to joining UNCRD in April 2003, he worked in the United Nations Environment Programme/Regional Resource Centre for Asia and the Pacific (UNEP/RRC. AP), Thailand, for ten years (1993-2003) as a Senior Programme Officer/Head of Environment Assessment and Reporting.
