  • Gajendra Singh Shekhawat Launches Unified Registration Portal for GOBARdhan to Revolutionize Biogas/CBG Sector

    Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, has launched the Unified Registration Portal for GOBARdhan, an initiative by the Government of India. This portal will serve as a centralized repository for assessing investment and participation in the Biogas/CBG (Compressed Biogas) sector at a pan India level. Its primary objective is to streamline the process of setting up CBG/Biogas plants in the country.

  • Record-Breaking Wheat Procurement Exceeds 260 LMT in RMS 2023-24, Surpassing Previous Year's Total

    The ongoing Rabi Marketing Season (RMS) 2023-24 has witnessed a smooth and successful wheat procurement process. As of 30th May 2023, a total of 262 Lakh Metric Tons (LMT) of wheat have been procured, surpassing last year's procurement of 188 LMT by a significant margin of 74 LMT.

    The Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) has taken proactive steps to implement air pollution control rules and regulations in order to tackle the ongoing problem of air pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR). To step up inspections and guarantee adherence to regulatory directives, a total of 40 flying squad inspection teams have been deployed.

  • DAHD Celebrates World Milk Day & Summer Meet at SKICC, Srinagar

    World Milk Day was observed today at the SKICC in Srinagar by the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying of the Government of India in partnership with the Agriculture Production Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir. A two-day summer meet for the animal husbandry and dairying sectors was launched on this occasion.
