IISc Researchers Develop Water Purification System to Tackle Global Water Scarcity
In the face of growing water scarcity worldwide, a team of researchers from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has developed a system that could help alleviate water shortages. This innovative thermal desalination system utilizes solar energy and has the potential to significantly increase the availability of clean, drinkable water in areas facing water scarcity.

e-NAM Revolutionizes Agricultural Trade: Surge of 41% in FY23
Trade between interstate mandis has experienced significant growth in the past year, according to recent data. In the financial year 2022-23, the trade volume increased by 36%, reaching 2,36,140 metric tonnes compared to 1,74,268 metric tonnes the previous year. This surge in trade amounted to a total value of Rs 2.41 crore, marking a remarkable 117% increase from the previous year's Rs 1.11 crore. The increase in trade is attributed to the successful implementation of the electronic-National Agriculture Market (e-NAM), which has facilitated agricultural product exchanges.

The JET agriculture answer key was earlier published on May 19 to assist candidates in evaluating their performance in the entrance exam. This allowed them to make well-informed decisions regarding their course preferences for agriculture, horticulture, home science, and fisheries science at various agricultural colleges and universities in Rajasthan.

Ambuja Foundation to Revive 26 Water Bodies in Rajasthan, in Alignment with NITI Aayog
Ambuja Foundation is all set to revive 26 water bodies in Nagaur and and Pali regions of Rajasthan. The objective is to complete the rejuvenation process before the upcoming monsoon season. This initiative aligns with the Prime Minister's vision of developing and rejuvenating 75 water bodies in each district of the country, known as 'Amrit Sarovar', as part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration.
