    At a meeting with officers of the Agriculture and Horticulture Department Punjab agriculture minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal said a roadmap was being prepared by the state government that would promote tissue culture in vegetables and fruits cultivation and suggestions of the agricultural experts have also been taken to make it a success, iin order to start direct marketing infrastructure in the state, governemtn will set up small cold stores and packhouses for farmers across the state so that the farmers can store the fruits and vegetables for several days and can sell directly to the consumers at a profitable price.

  • Tamil Nadu Government To Launch New Portal For Farmers

    The Tamil Nadu government introduce a portal for farmers ‘Tamil Man Valam’ which will help them know the soil fertility status, obtain soil health card and implement schemes for paddy, millet, pulses and oilseeds to increase foodgrain production.
