Bhumi Samvaad VIII: National Conference on Land Management Modernization on February 8th-9th
Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Giriraj Singh, is poised to inaugurate the two-day Bhumi Samvaad VIII: National Conference of State Revenue / Registration Secretaries and Inspector General of Registration (IGR) on ‘Sharing of Best Practices in Land Management Modernization’ on February 8th, 2024, at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi. Organized by the Department of Land Resources, the conference will convene state delegations comprising officers from Revenue and Registration Departments, alongside IGR representatives, as well as stakeholders from key Central Ministries / Departments.

PM Kisan 16th Installment 2024: Govt Likely to Release Funds Soon: Complete eKYC to Get Rs 2000
The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana aims to empower farmers by providing financial assistance. The 15th installment of the PM Kisan Yojana was disbursed on November 15, 2023. Farmers are now eagerly anticipating the 16th installment. The expected release date for the 16th installment of PM Kisan is either February end or March first week. Hence eligible farmers must ensure they complete their e-KYC on time to avail themselves of the benefits of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.

PM-Kisan Scheme Witnesses 14% Dip in Beneficiaries, Registering 9.21 Crore in 2023-24
The Indian Government, in its recent update to the Parliament, revealed a notable decline in the number of beneficiaries enrolled under the Prime Minister's flagship Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme, PM-Kisan Scheme. The beneficiary count has decreased by 14%, falling from 10.73 crore in the previous year to 9.21 crore in the fiscal year 2023-24.
