    The Centre for Marketing & Promotion of Rural Products, Entrepreneurship Development (CMPRPED), NIRDPR Delhi Branch is organizing a national workshop for deliberating the scope of ‘Export Marketing of Handicraft and Handloom Products’ from 14th to 15th May 2024 at Casuarina Hall, IHC, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. It presents a good opportunity to deliberate on enhancing the export scope for rural handicraft and handloom products.

  • ICAR-IARI and WSU Offers Dual PhD Degree Program for Indian Agricultural Researchers

    The Graduate School at the ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is excited to announce a unique opportunity for doctoral students enrolled in the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic sessions. In collaboration with Western Sydney University (WSU) in Australia, the institute is announcing a Dual PhD Degree program, inviting expressions of interest (EoIs) from eligible candidates. This program aims to foster international collaboration and provide students with a platform to pursue advanced research in agricultural sciences.

  • India Among 13 High-Emitting Countries Facing Severe Climate Change Impact: Report

    India and 12 other high-emitting countries could be on the verge of suffering catastrophic effects from climate change, according to a new report from global risk intelligence provider Verisk Maplecroft. According to their findings, unless significant changes are made to current emissions trajectories, 13 out of the 30 countries responsible for nearly 90% of global carbon emissions could be on the brink of facing severe climate-related impacts, particularly from rising temperatures.

  • Dileep Sanghani Re-elected as Chairman of IFFCO; Balvir Singh Retains Vice Chairman Position

    IFFCO conducted its 15th RGB elections for its Board of Directors covering members from more than 36000 cooperative societies at IFFCO Sadan, New Delhi. A massive exercise which was started in the month of March saw Dileep Sanghani emerged as the Chairman of IFFCO and Balvir Singh as the Vice Chairman. The Board has always upheld Cooperative values and Principles and has believed in the socio-economic development of the Cooperative sector across the Country.
